In celebration of International Women’s Day, Amplify Clearwater hosted their annual AchieveHERs luncheon. Businesswomen from all over the city came together for this networking event.

What is AchieveHERs?

To meet the demands of businesswomen in the Clearwater region, AchieveHERs was established under the auspice of AMPLIFY Clearwater to be a regional leader providing camaraderie, support, networking opportunities and valuable new insights to women in business.

AchieveHERs provides impactful quarterly events that share insight, ideas, skills and success stories to ultimately help women overcome obstacles to their success. AchieveHERs is open to both established women in business and those aspiring to lead. Every quarter, this group hosts events which benefit local organizations. We invite you to join us as we continue to grow, learn and support one another through this valuable organization.

Sharon Fekete joined in for the luncheon, she is the 2023 AchieveHERs Chair. She is also the Founder of The Doctor Whisperer & 13th Ave Media. She has been whispering strategies to physicians for over 20 years & amplifies businesses through the power of social media.

As a firm believer in advocating toward improved mental health, she published her book ‘The Broken Road to Mental Health, in Life & in Business’ on her 25th sober anniversary, August 11th, 2019. She speaks at medical conferences about hospitality in healthcare, hiring a dream team, and branding. Sharon also speaks to corporations about mental health in the workplace & includes her own previous struggles with addiction, depression, & the journey to overcome adversity. She hosts (2) podcasts, The Doctor Whisperer & The Broken Road to Mental Health. She is a wife, stepmom, fur baby mom, and an avid bike rider. Sharon believes we are all on the broken road, under construction for life.

The keynote speaker for 2023 was Brandi Winans. Brandi is an Inspirational Keynote Speaker, Meyers-Briggs Practitioner & Life Coach, born in a small town in North Carolina however, she grew up right here on St. Pete Beach. Married to former Pro NFL Player, Jeff Winans for over 30 years, she details their life story in her latest book, “The Flip Side of Glory” as told from the wife’s perspective.

In a story of Love, Acceptance and hope, her faith was tested beyond her wildest imagination after losing everything and learning that it’s never too late to start over. Her Audio CD Workbook, The Stepping Stones of Life, shows teens and young adults how to develop their passion, commit to it and change their life to a positive force through her Wannabe Outreach Ministry.

She is a Speaker/Advisor for The National Football Players Women Association, co-Founder of Day For Our Children, Inc., the founding member of the NFL Alumni Tampa Bay Chapter, and a strong NFL advocate to families and players as a transition coach. She is a Talk Radio Host for St Pete Sports Connection.
