St.Pete to close off 22 blocks for Halloween Block Party

St. Pete’s Central Avenue is going to be closed off on October 31st for a giant Halloween block party!

“Halloween on Central” will take up a two mile stretch of Central Avenue. The closure extends from Martin Luther King Jr. St. to 31st St.

The entire area will be car-free and safe for people of all ages in the Tampa Bay area to roam! There are tons of Halloween activities happening from traditional trick-or-treating to live music. Local business will be participating in this fun night of festivities as well.

Everyone is welcome, even your four-legged friends!

With almost two miles of dedicated space, this is an event you don’t want to miss! It takes place from 12pm-5pm rain or shine!

A message from Car-Free St.Pete: “If you are planning to drive, there will be FREE on-street parking available on 1st Ave. North & South and surrounding streets, as well as $10 parking available in Tropicana Field Lots 4, 5, 6, 7 and 11.”

ABC Action News Reported: “PSTA will be increasing service on the Central Avenue Trolley and redirecting the route to 1st Ave. N and S, servicing the bus stops on those roads every 15 minutes. Anyone dressed in Halloween costume ride for free during the event.”
